Nurses work tirelessly to identify and protect the health needs of the individual, family and community and act as a binding force in health care. Nursing is a highly specialized profession that has a time-honored reputation for compassion and dedication. It is constantly evolving to address the health needs of society. Nurses are an indispensable part of health care in providing preventive, curative, and rehabilitative health care. Established in the year 2008, EMS College of Nursing aims to prepare nurses who will contribute effectively to the healthcare systems in public and private healthcare organizations and community services. EMS College of Nursing, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council believes in preparing Nurses who will be competent to function efficiently in any field of nursing- bedside nursing, nursing administration, nursing education, or nursing research. We aim to maintain academic excellence and quality patient care through the selection of teaching and learning opportunities as per the current demands of the profession. We believe in preparing professional nurses with high professional values and ethics who will uphold the dignity of the profession. Faculty believes in the overall development of students as a person and a useful citizen.
