M.Sc Nursing

For admission to MSc Nursing course
1.    The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife  with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.
2.    The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of regular  Degree course in Nursing- (BSc Nursing  / BSc (Hons). Nursing / Post Basic BSc Nursing), with minimum of 55% aggregate marks, from an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3.    Minimum one year of experience after  Basic Bsc  Nursing . One year compulsory nursing service /internship     after successful completion of four year BSc Nursing can be considered as experience.
4.    Minimum one year of experience prior   or after regular Post Basic BSc Nursing.
5.    Candidate shall be medically fit.

Admission Proceedure

2 years duration with  University exams at the end of each year.

MSC Nursing is offered in the following specialties
a.    Medical surgical Nursing
b.    Obstetrics and gynecological  nursing
c.    Child health nursing
d.    Mental health nursing
1.    The first year fee has to be paid at the time of admission and the fee for the next year has to be paid before the forth working day of the beginning of that academic year
2.    Fee for Sports day, Cultural day, PTA, Uniforms, and Books etc. has to be paid separately.
3.    Hostel fee has to be paid at the beginning of each year.
4.    Mess fee in the hostel has to be paid by the 5th day of each month.
